Hip Hop Literature in Augmented Reality provides a unique educational experience by integrating augmented reality technology with the study of Black American literature. The app features lectures led by Dr. Tyechia Thompson, an assistant professor in the Department of English at Virginia Tech, who presents course content through digital holograms.
The course delves into significant aesthetic elements, philosophical insights, and cultural aspects of Hip Hop. Each session includes quizzes aimed at assessing the knowledge gained by Virginia Tech students, while "The Sources" section curates references utilized by Dr. Thompson throughout the lectures.
